Client Brief

The family desired a home that blended creativity with practicality. Specific requirements included:

• A spacious, nature inspired living room that feels open and airy despite structural beams
• A kitchen with two separate hobs for vegetarian and non vegetarian cooking
• Bedrooms adaptable for occasional guests, including their daughters room
• A mandir with a dedicated space for Shri Shivaji Maharaj ji
• A grand yet functional entrance with designer safety features
• Personalized touches in bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas

Design Challenges

The project presented several unique challenges:

• Structural beams in the living room restricting the open feel
• Limited space in the daughters room needing multiple functions
• Creating separate vegetarian and non vegetarian kitchens while maintaining cohesion
• Integrating a traditional mandir with a space for Shri Shivaji Maharaj ji
• Large entrance area requiring safety, elegance, and storage
• Bathrooms and bedrooms needing both functionality and luxury

Our Approach and Solutions

Entrance: To balance security and style, we designed a large wooden main door with a fingerprint lock and a complementary side partition in a see through design. Customized shoe storage with mirrors and profile lighting created a welcoming, airy ambiance. Floral decor added a soft, stylish touch.

Living Room: Mirrors were placed on ceiling beams to expand the space visually. A nature inspired theme brought freshness while an open study nook added functionality without crowding the area.

Kitchen: We created two distinct cooking zones, a main kitchen for vegetarian dishes and a dry balcony converted for non vegetarian cooking. A European style design with deco finishes and mirrored shutters elevated the look. Designer molding with elegant arches beautifully framed the entrances from the dining area.

Bedrooms and Daughters Room:

• The daughters room became a multifunctional space with a sofa cum wall bed, window seating, folding study table and a large mirror
• A bi fold door connected the daughters room to the parents bedroom, allowing flexible use with privacy enabled by blinds
• The master bedroom featured pine flooring, a folding multipurpose table and a stylish console
• The sons room included window seating with storage, a folding study table, customized blinds with printed quotes and warm wooden flooring

Guest Room and Mandir: The guest room included an extendable sofa cum bed and a hanging wardrobe for space efficiency. The mandir featured a common step and backdrop design to accommodate both the main setup and a dedicated space for Shri Shivaji Maharaj ji, ensuring harmony and grandeur.

Bathrooms: Civil work improved storage throughout, while designer mirrors elevated the look. The master bathroom featured gold accents, and the sons bathroom used blue tiles and a precisely designed bathtub.

Final Outcome

The transformation resulted in a home that balances elegance, functionality, and personalized charm. Every room now feels spacious, airy and tailored to the family lifestyle. Mirrors, clever layouts and customized furniture created an environment that is both modern and welcoming.
